A Christmas Story (original) and the familiar Christmas carol Silent Night, all recorded on Martha’s Vineyard. This seven-minute piece coming from an island off the coast of Massachusetts may help you get into the holiday spirit. The song, the story, the video were recorded in the small coastal town of Oak Bluffs by folksinger and storyteller Mark Alan Lovewell. A resident of this island, he plays guitar and harmonica. The song was recorded in the recording studio just a few days ago by Jim Parr, of Oak Bluffs.
