Celebrating the Re-Opening of the Fair

We are having a Fair! Responding to an overwhelming concern that the Island craves a sense of “normal” this summer, the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society will hold the 159th Annual Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Fair and Livestock Show from August 19th through August 22nd, 2021.

Mark Alan Lovewell wrote the song Let’s Go to the Fair last year as a Pandemic 2020 entry in a musical contest hosted by the fair people. They organized a virtual fair with virtual shows and a virtual music contest.

Mark submitted the song and won the top award.
