Mark Alan Lovewell, was the only Vineyard photographer to see and photograph these to important events. Thus these photographs are limited edition, will not be mass marketed and are individually printed, signed and matted for each customer. A special label is put on the back of the frame explaining in words the significance of the shot and identifying the limited print number.

The photographs are printed using state of the art digital technology, and are archival. The matting material is archival. The “glass” is a Plexiglass-like material that offers optimum UV protection and it won’t break like glass. The frame is black aluminum.

The photographer prefers to offer the Islander print as a black and white, for many reasons. The vessel looks best in black and white. In her last days, she showed plenty of rust spots which diminished the closing story of this glorious vessel.
